We never thought that we would own property downtown. Initially we thought we would just lease a space then we started working with Amber. We actually went to meet with her on Valentines Day to look at a different space, but she said no, you really need to look at this building across the street. I was like, why are we looking at this? We stood inside the building for about five minutes and it hit both of us about the same time. This is perfect. We can make this work. The building looked like a scene from “Saw.” It was just a tragedy building, it had been empty the entire time I’ve lived here. It took some work, some sweat and tears but we knew we wanted to be down here. We have found the perfect location.
